News – nova the standard crypto exchange engine

POSQ (Poseidon Quark), is swapping to a new chain with a new wallet and a ratio 100:1. The Snapshot was taken on Jan 6TH @ 11:59 PM EST, and as the new coins will be distributed to all users that were holding balances at the time, Nova Exchange decided to airdrop the new balance to all customers holding POSQ, list the new POSQ as a new chain, and in addition keep the old chain. We are re-branding the old chain to:

PAK (Pak Coin) is performing a 1:1 swap to a new blockchain. If you do not want to be part of this swap, please withdraw your coins immediately. If you want to be part of it, there is no action to take as we will perform it for you.

The swap will close on 8th of February, and it is then that we will distribute the new coins. The old chain will be removed.

ASAFE2 – AllSafe2 is performing a 1:1 swap to a new blockchain. If you do not want to be part of this swap, please withdraw your coins immediately. If you want to be part of it, there is no action to take as we will perform it for you. The swap will close on 8th of February, and it is then that we will distribute the new coins. The old chain will be removed. The new chain is going to be re-branded to:

EMB (Ember) is performing a swap based on a dynamic ratio to a new blockchain, AEM (Atheneum). If you do not want to be part of this swap, please withdraw your coins immediately. If you want to be part of it, there is no action to take as we will perform it for you. The swap will close on Monday, 4th of February, and it is then that we will distribute the new coins. The old chain, EMB, will be inactive and delisted.

POPC (Popular Classic.) is performing a 1:1 swap to a new blockchain POP (Popular Coin). If you do not want to be part of this swap, please withdraw your coins immediately. If you want to be part of it, there is no action to take as we will perform it for you. The swap will close on Monday, 4th of February, and it is then that we will distribute the new coins. All friends of Nova and traders on the Nova platform, look here! As you probably are aware of, today we re-launch and you will have some more friends joining you. Because of that our Terms and Conditions have been updated and been updated since 2nd of December, therefor we urge you to have a look at these. Wish you all the best and happy trading!

We had some communication with the new devs, and we agreed to unfreeze the funds, but their team is not active when it comes to helping or replying. Therefore we decided to help by suggesting a pull request on GitHub, that would unfreeze our funds. Though they agreed on this, they never accepted the request, and because we spent many hours, time, and did not receive any help nor support, we are delisting this coin. In regards to the rest DAS/TRIBE community, we apologize for this action, but as we did not manage to work things out, we must delist the coin.

We at Nova Exchange have already completed the swap, and now in your wallet you will find 2 balances, the XBR (old chain) and the XBRC balance, with a 2:1 ratio. The old chain XBR is going to be delisted with the next batch too – 22 November, therefore we have halted trading and set the wallet under maintenance, though if you do not want to be part of this swap and want the old XBR balance back, contact support and we will send it over. If you want the oldbalance, this will mean that the new XBRC balance will be removed by your account. If so, make sure to not trade with it!

Bitcoin Cash (BCH) will undergo a hard-fork and the chain will split on the 15th November (unknown block height as of yet). The community seems pretty divided and it is not yet certain which chain will be dominant (if any), but we aim to support both forks, and we are going to be the FIRST exchange of supporting both of these chains. This means, that as a customer you will be receiving the equivalent amount of BCH that you have stored with us on the date of the fork, in BitcoinSV.

NOTE -> NOTE — The old chain is no longer moving. However we agreed with the developers and we have now swapped with success. We are now on the new chain. Instead of giving a 30 days withdrawal notice, we have decided to credit the new balance directly. Edit If you DO NOT wish to be part of the swap but instead want to withdraw on the old chain, please do not trade or withdraw but instead contact customer support within 30 days

THC – THC – Swap is to be performed on 16th of October. If you want to be part of the swap, there is no further action that you need to do. If you want to be part of the swap, and have some THC funds outside of Nova, you need to deposit them before the 16th. If you do not wish to be part of the swap, you need to withdraw your THC before the 16th.

TIPS: Previously we have announced that we will perform the swap. Fedora TIPS had decided to do a swap with a ratio of 50:1 to their new coin, Fedora Gold. BUT! The TIPS community is a strong one, so instead of swapping, the developers decided to hard fork, and the new currency FED will be airdropped to TIPS holders with a ratio of 50:1. Because the TIPS/FED developers will use CryptoNote for the new FED coin, Nova, unfortunately, cannot support that.

We have previously announced that there will be a swap of IZE. We at Nova Exchange have been unable to make contact with the developer and have decided to delist the coin. You will therefore, unfortunately, need to withdraw your funds, regardless of if you wish to take part of the swap or not. IZE will be delisted from Nova Exchange on 2018-08-23. Please see https://www.izecoin.com/ for more information regarding the swap.

There is an ongoing swap of FUNK to SONIQ. Nova Exchange will not take part of this swap. If you have any FUNK and wish to take part of the swap you will need to withdraw your funds. The swap will end on 12:00PM UTC August 7, 2018. You can find more information here: https://soniqproject.com/ and https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=3795734.0

MRNG – This coin have had a community fork, Eidas (EDS). We will attempt to list Eidas as well, and provide users that had balance on the fork date the same balance in Eidas. There has also been a swap. We have decided, for now, to not swap to the new fork. If customers wish to swap their coins to the new chain we encourage you to withdraw MRNG.

Dear Nova people and Crypto community. What a community you are! We flagged some assets for delisting and asked you to get in touch with us on lonely nodes, and non-functioning wallets, of the assets about to be delisted. Together we have saved MAGI (XMG) from delisting. MAGI will now continue be traded on Nova Exchange. Keep it coming everybody! We can save more coins. Stay tuned for deposits opening on monday 28 may, afternoon CET. #cryptocurrency #novaexchange

All the wallets with warnings on balance page are either missing nodes on the network or there have not been any new blocks found for a long time. If you have a working wallet with any of these altcoins, please contact support using email [email protected] so that we can add more working nodes to our configuration files. That will help all people who want to make withdrawal. Thank you for you help!

Only the users that was able to register before we stopped registration in the end of 2017 and who has also accepted the new ToS of the new owners are now able to login. New owners will decide when to enable deposits, new user registration and start listing new coins. We hope you will enjoy the service from the new management and support team! Thank you for staying with Nova Exchange! /Good bye from old management and support team

Honored customers, we have very good news. Last year, we made the tough decision to close down Nova, because it was growing so fast that we could not keep up and run the service in a proper and secure way. But, we never stopped looking for a way to keep Nova in business. We are very happy to announce that we have found new owners, that have the resources and the experience it takes (6+ years in crypto) to provide even more excellent service to you all. All you need to do to keep using Nova, right now, and later on, is to log in and approve the updated Terms of Service, here https://novaexchange.com/

Honoured customers and crypto currency enthusiasts! You have been told a while ago now that we were planning to close down Nova Exchange in the beginning of 2018. We made this tough decision because Nova Exchange was growing at a speed, and in a way, that us, the founders, could not keep up with and run the business in a meaningful and secure way. Not wanting to make promises we might not be able to keep, we didn’t tell anyone, not anyone, that we never stopped looking for a way to keep going and keep Nova Exchange in business. So! We are so happy to announce that we have found a partner, a new main shareholder, willing and more importantly, able to carry on running Nova Exchange. The new owners, we have made sure, have the resources and the experience (6+ years in the business) it takes to provide excellent service to you all. We started negotiations and talks early in November last year, and now we can tell you the good news: The show will go on! More information will follow. In the meantime, just go keep on trading crypto. Best Wishes to you all!

A delisting of coins that have no active blockchain / not working well / no connections / 0 trading volumes / no stable nodes, is planned to be done 2017-12-30. For coins without connections, please send us a support ticket if you have working nodes to that currencies. If the wallet will be connected and the blockchain is working well and there is still interest for trading the coin, we will reconsider the delisting decision.

Any transaction without txid hasn’t happened. It is as simple as that. We have had many users asking us about deposits that didn’t arrive to Novaexchange. But when asking for txid there are no more details to trace the transaction. Especially transactions from https://cryptoinbox.com/ seems to have issues. Please make sure you have a txid BEFORE you contact support, without that we can’t help you.

REP Augur deposit addresses has been disabled due to contract address changes from 0x48c80F1f4D53D5951e5D5438B54Cba84f29F32a5 to the new address 0xE94327D07Fc17907b4DB788E5aDf2ed424adDff6. The old contract address is now frozen and no new transactions may be used to go through that contract. As a measure you will have to generate a new REP address in order to deposit REP to Novaexchange.

We were not informed about the swap from ASAFE to ASAFE2 that happened a few days ago on Livecoin exchange. The ASAFE developers had decided to make this swap exclusively for Livecoin users. We will support both ASAFE and ASAFE2 but as long as developers don’t offer any ASAFE2 for swap we can’t offer that possibility to our users. On thir bitcointalk page (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1638090.0) they write that 6029732,74928 ASAFE2 was sent to livecoin.net for swapping all their user balances. No other exchange has been offered this possibility.

Novaexchange updated the wallet a few days after the SCN blockchain hack took okace which rolled back the chain over 30 days. After a lot of help with the dev they released a new version which includes checkpoints to the chain. Novaexchange is running the official and working version of the SCN wallet – so far nothing has showned that our wallet has any issues. We are in contact with the dev to sort out any remaining questions.

Fedoracoin (TIPS) listed on Novaexchange is using the new forked chain which is the correct chain. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1420302.380 for more information. The community have decided to fork the chain due to the problems with TIPS the last few months. Depositing or withdrawing TIPS must have the correct chain, upgrading the wallet will loose any coins earned after the fork only. Any coins earned before the fork will still reside in your wallet.
