New delhi: with the cabinet committee on parliamentary affairs (CCPA) recommending holding the monsoon session from 18 july to 12 august, the focus is now on the crucial session where the government is hopeful to pass the constitutional amendment bill to roll out goods and services tax (GST). The cabinet on wednesday also approved pay and pension raises for government employees and pensioners. In a bid to attract more jobs, the cabinet also gave a go ahead to a model law allowing cinemas and malls to stay open 24×7.
