QB-GON is entirely dual sided, from the mechanism to the outer shell.

Identical blades can produce different pattern just by flipping them (mirrored pattern), or same pattern but thicker (stacked).

If you change from alternated configuration (rotating-stable-rotating-stable etc…) to a thick configuration (stable-stable rotting-rotating etc…), you can have a blade that is the same pattern but thicker, by stacking up the same pattern and form a double thickness blade! While if you have the alternated stable and rotating configuration the blades are thinner! Thick blade configuration produce coarser grind while alternating a more fine.

Re-configuring the mechanism (order sides) will give different results! There are 2 blade configurations, however you can try your own configurations, but must keep in mind 3 principles of the mechanism!

1) no mater what is the order or sides you set up your configuration, you must form a chamber by aligning the blades.Money laundering canada

2) there is a top blade.

3) there is a bottom blade.

The asymmetrical patterns has been design to distribute the force to small surface area at all time as the mechanism rotates! That ensure effortless grinding!

Click to expand…Even with a 4 piece grinder there are two halves to move, thus the grinding action. While the hands obviously contact the two halves, in order to grind, there’s no need for hands to contact either the herb or any interior parts of the grinder. If by back hand fats (a term I’ve never heard before) and grime you mean contamination from the hands, that’s a real reach and IMO absolutely nothing to be concerned about when grinding herb. If you’re really concerned about it, it wouldn’t be that difficult to use needle nosed pliers and/or tweezers to separate and load the grinder, leaving it untouched by human hands. As for most grinders producing a very low quality product (byproduct is defined as an incidental or secondary product produced during manufacturing and has no place in this discussion) due to this ‘fats and grime’ issue you describe, that’s just not true.Money laundering canada no grinder is going to degrade the product quality by the simple act of grinding. You’re just turning it into smaller, more manageable pieces.

While your product is interesting, looks well made, and seems quite versatile, I can (and do) use different 2 piece grinders (or 4 piece for that matter) in order to grind to different consistencies and the cost for several 2 part models still comes in at less than the indiegogo price for one of your units. While I might like to own and use your interesting and different grinder, I don’t need it in order to get different grind consistencies and I’m certainly not concerned about any grinder I use compromising the herb quality in any way.
